Continuing with the topic of raising funds for your Relay For Life team, here are some other groups in the news lately.
A group in Arkansas set up a Shop For The Cure event featuring spa treatments, haircuts, etc. and raffled other donated items.
This team in Illinois put together a pancake breakfast at their church.
Another team in Florida is offering rides on a high-speed race boat followed by dinner at a local restaurant. With tickets at $100 each, they should race considerable funds.
This group is doing a Mardi Gras fundraiser. Thse types of big events take more planning and lots of volunteers, but you can really raise a tremendous amount if you do it right.
