Halloween Fundraiser – For schools having a Halloween Fundraiser is a great way to raise money for the PTA or other school group.

A Halloween Fundraiser is perfect timing because school has recently started and everyone is still gung-ho and full of energy.

One of the most lucrative Halloween fundraiser ideas is to have your own pumpkin patch.

You can hold your pumpkin fundraiser in conjunction with a school fall festival or as a sole fundraising event.

Publicity will be crutial to your success, so be sure not to skimp on that. Signs, letters home, a eyecatching post on the school website, even a press release will get more traffic.

Decorate your pumpkin patch to make it appealing to passers-by. Twinkle lights and the decorative use of bright fall colors go a long way toward people stopping at your pumpkin patch rather than the one around the corner.

Order your pumpkins locally if you can and don’t over buy, having too many left overs from your halloween fundraiser will cut into profits.

And those are some quick suggestions for having a Halloween Fundraiser.

  1. This is a great idea, and so festive! Another fundraiser that you should check out for this fall is an online toolbar fundraiser. This is our school’s 2nd year participating and it is really nice because minimal work is involved. Parents (and others who want to support the school) download the school’s toolbar and we earn money for the school by just searching and shopping online. It is free to participate in and most of our parents spend time online anyways, so for us it was a perfect fit. The website is http://www.Give2Network.com. Happy Fundraising!

  2. I really Like this fundraiser and pointing out it is a great Idea for a school. We have a local church that sells pumpkins for church fundraising…

  3. We did a Halloween Music fundraiser using The Power of Good Network Inc., they gave us the CDs upfront and we ended up selling 150 of them for $5.00 each, which was cool because we keep $2.50 for each CD we sold.

I actually didn’t believe it would work that well, however because they shipped it to us free and gave us 30 days to pay for what we sold, we figured what the heck, what could we lose. It ended up being great. The catch to their program is they only deal with School fundraising, so if you are doing some School fundraising you should contact them at http://www.powerofgoodnetwork.com

  4. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your website? My website is in the very same area of interest as yours and my users would certainly benefit from some of the information you present here. Please let me know if this okay with you. Thanks a lot!
