Aaron Rodgers Fundraiser For Shooting Victims

I think its great that these sports figures are giving back to the community after something horrific like this.

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun will hold a fundraiser for the victims of the Brookfield salon shooting and their families.

Rodgers and Braun own the 8-12 restaurant in Brookfield. Rodgers says the restaurant ties them to the community, so they’re looking for a way to help out.

WTMJ reports plans for the fundraiser are still being finalized by Rodgers’ and Braun’s restaurant partner, Omar Shaikh. They say 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the victims and their families.

Three employees of the Azana Salon & Spa were killed Sunday in a shooting that wounded four other women. Police say the gunman took his own life at the spa.
