Rain Barrels International is a Rain Barrel Company out of Raleigh, North Carolina which manufacturers rain barrels out of once used “food grade barrels” that after being dumped by food processing companies would otherwise go into our countries landfills. Our company’s goal is to educate people about taking one step to water conservation by using our product to collect rainwater.
We have successfully created a fundraiser program for organizations to raise money for their group. Our fundraisers are extremely easy to do and very profitable! We are currently trying to implement some great GoFundMe event ideas as well.
HOW OUR RAIN BARREL FUNDRAISERS WORK:
1. You arrange a date and location with our company for your event.
2. We charge a base wholesale price for each of our rain barrels + shipping and you add on $20.00 for your fundraiser.
3. You do advertising in your organization, community, Twitter, Facebook, newspaper, etc. We provide you with all the copy to assist in this advertising.
4. Our company does internet advertising on all of the local online free ad sites to assist your organization.
5. We provide a PDF flyer for you to print out and distribute about your fundraising event.
6. Your clients purchase their rain barrels on our website under your fundraisers name using Paypal.
7. On the day of your organizations fundraiser we have the barrels delivered to the event location for your groups’ distribution.
8. You will receive a check from our company within 10 days after your fundraising event.

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun will hold a fundraiser for the victims of the Brookfield salon shooting and their families.
Rodgers and Braun own the 8-12 restaurant in Brookfield. Rodgers says the restaurant ties them to the community, so they’re looking for a way to help out.
WTMJ reports plans for the fundraiser are still being finalized by Rodgers’ and Braun’s restaurant partner, Omar Shaikh. They say 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the victims and their families.
Three employees of the Azana Salon & Spa were killed Sunday in a shooting that wounded four other women. Police say the gunman took his own life at the spa.
Daily deals coupon giant Groupon offers free grassroots fundraising assistance to worthy community causes and nonprofit organizations across the country. Groupon Grassroots helps you craft a compelling message about your group’s fundraising need and then promotes it their subscribers on the Groupon website.
This assistance is not for general fundraising campaigns that contribute to the operating budget nor does it help sell tickets to galas, races, or silent auctions. Its all about project-specific fundraising with measurable impact and community-oriented results.
According to Groupon: “Groupon Grassroots campaigns always have a project-specific goal and create a sense of urgency for the donor. Whether it is a matching donor specific to the campaign, an enticing registration incentive, or a particular project or program that you have an affinity for, Grassroots campaigns generate energy and excitement around the featured cause that isn’t normally available.”
Groupon Grassroots helps coordinate your campaign from beginning to end. Once you’ve identified a compelling project, a Groupon Grassroots Campaign Organizer will coach you through building and launching your campaign. Throughout the process, we’ll provide you with the following resources:
A creative campaign write-up crafted by our dedicated team of Groupon Grassroots writers
A step-by-step promotions and public relations guide to marketing your campaign
Phone consultations to discuss the best campaign strategies for your organization
